Yes golf is simple to understand and very difficult to repeat! Make sure he doesn’t mess with your grip unless your a true beginner. Stay in balance flex your knees and understand that you hit the ball on the downswing not your backswing.

The biggest thing that I’ve learned about golf is that you have to be patient. There’s about a 99% chance that it won’t come easy at the beginning so I would just try to enjoy your time playing. The more calm you are, the easier it will be and you’ll have a lot more fun for you. There’s a lot worse places to be than playing golf, no matter how you do. It’s been said that fishing, sex and golf are the things you don’t have to be good at to enjoy. Stay focused and have fun.

Listen to the instructor. It’s a lot easier to learn when you’re not trying to apply instruction from people online…:)

Keep your head still. Pick a spot on the back of the ball focus on to assists in giving you crisp ball first contact. Swing at 75% percent You need to hit the ball clean not hard. The most important part to remember is its a game and is meant to be fun so enjoy it.

Calm down. You're getting a lesson tomorrow so wait until tomorrow. Let the pro provide you with the tips. I love to play. I had 2 eagles today and never had a lesson, but I always recommend beginners taking lessons. I'm a trial and error type person so I'll figure it out eventually.
